Are you looking for a counselor who will accept you just as you are, make you feel comfortable, and help you to rediscover hope? I will walk beside you while you learn to experience more self-compassion, live more contentedly, and enjoy a more abundant life.
Since 1995, I have worked with teens and adults experiencing troubling issues such as depression, anxiety, hopelessness, various types of relationship problems, confusion, low self-esteem, marital challenges, parenting difficulties, substance abuse, school-related problems, and spiritual dilemmas.
My post-graduate education has focused on special training in the fields of marriage counseling (Light University), substance abuse counseling (Western Michigan University), and (currently) gerontology. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, incorporating Emotional Support, Goal-Setting, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Brief Therapy, Biblical Principles, Bibliotherapy, Education, and Creative Expression.
